ME Yoga

We are excited to announce the opening of our brand new Yoga studio in January 2015.   Our ocean view Yoga Studio located at the ME Hotel  is 750 sq feet with 5 meter vaulted ceilings and bamboo flooring above the ME Gym and overlooking our beautiful main pool and jacuzzi.

Sweet Vinyasa Flow Yoga - Our vinyasa classes are an actively paced flow that connects movement with breath. These classes will energize, challenge, and inspire you. Expect to build strength, flexibility, mobility, and core integration. This class is for all levels and we try to offer plenty of options for the beginner or advanced yogi so it's a healthy challenge. There will be opportunities fine tune common poses, plus an exploration of challenging standing poses, basic arm balances & inversions. 

Morning Flow Yoga – An invigorating 60 minute Vinyasa flow class to wake you up and get you ready for your day. This class will include active flow and sun salutations, with a blend of standing poses, seated/floor poses, meditation, and breath exercises. Options will always be offered to support students of all levels.

Cleanse and Renew Yoga – Cleanse and renew to prepare yourself for the following week.  This class will incorporate heat-building sequences that encourage sweat and detoxification.  Breathwork, poses, and deep floor work will help calm the nervous system, cleanse the body, and invigorate the soul.

Nia Technique – this class is a dynamic movement practice that combines the dance arts (Modern, Jazz, and Duncan dance), the healing arts (Yoga, Feldenkreis, and Alexander Technique) and martial arts (Aikido, Tae Kwon Do, and Tai Chi) – medicine for the mind, body and soul.  Playful, inspirational, and unique – this practice brings your heart rate up, opens your mind, and purifies your entire being.

Conscious Interval Training - HIIT – HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training - with constantly varied, high intensity functional movements, HIIT builds muscle while simultaneously burning fat. This class incorporates a conscious and mindful approach to strong bursts of cardio, core, and strength work, while addressing the needs of your joints and connective tissue. There will be modified versions of each move for both beginners and advanced athletes. This class gives you the power the really push and challenge yourself in a supportive and safe environment.
